Dr. Tahir graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in Iraq in 1990. He further completed a DRMR qualification at Baghdad University, Iraq, in 1998, and earned a Master of Podiatric Medicine (MPM) from Western Sydney University in 2015.
Since 2015, Dr. Tahir has been practising as a podiatrist, bringing together extensive medical knowledge and specialised expertise in foot and lower limb health. His strong medical background enables him to effectively assess and manage a wide range of foot conditions, particularly those associated with rheumatological disorders and biomechanical injuries affecting the lower limbs.
Dr. Tahir has a special interest in diabetic foot care and the early detection of vascular and ischaemic changes in the feet. Throughout his career, he has identified numerous patients with early-stage, reversible circulatory complications, helping to prevent serious outcomes, including foot ulceration and lower-limb amputation.
